ANZOATEGUI 9, ARAGUA 5 IN ANZOATEGUI


Twins: Oswaldo Arcia (Aragua) was 2-for-5. Eduardo Escobar (Anzoategui) was 0-for-4. Angel Mata (Aragua) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out two in 1.1 innings.
Game summary: Anzoategui took a 7-1 lead after three innings and was never threatened.
Aragua: Alex Romero was 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs. Ronny Cedeno was 2-for-5 with a double and scored twice.
Anzoategui: Jose Gil was 3-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in two. Alexi Amarista (San Diego) was 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs.

LA GUAIRA 7, CARACAS 3 IN LA GUAIRA

Game summary: La Guaira led 5-1 after two innings.
Caracas: Josh Felhuaer (Cincinnati) was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Henry Wrigley was 2-for-4 and scored twice.

Evan Gattis homered in the top of the fifth to tie the score. Sean Burroughs (Margarita) was 1-for-2 so far.
