Dominican League: Games of November 17


ESCOGIDO 4, CIBAO 3 IN ESCOGIDO

Twins:  Pedro Florimon (Escogido) was 0-for-2 with a walk.
Game summary:  Cibao made two errors in the bottom of the ninth, allowing the winning run to score.
Cibao:  Marcell Ozuna (Miami) was 2-for-4 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in one.  Francisco Peguero (San Francisco) was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Escogido:  Julio Lugo was 2-for-4.  Fernando Tatis was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring once and driving in one.

ORIENTE 4, AGUILAS 3 IN AGUILAS

Twins:  Drew Butera (Oriente) was 0-for-3.  Luis Perdomo (Aguilas) struck out two and walked one in a hitless inning.
Game summary:  Oriente scored the go-ahead run in the eighth on a single, a walk, and two hit batsmen.
Oriente:  Juan Diaz (Cleveland) was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs.  Wirfin Obispo allowed only a walk in two shutout innings.
Aguilas:  Elian Herrera (Dodgers) was 2-for-3 with two walks, scoring once and driving in one.  Omar Luna was 2-for-4.

ESTE 6, LICEY 4 IN ESTE

Game summary:  Este scored five in the fourth to take a 6-2 lead.  Licey cut it to 6-4 in the sixth.
Licey:  Pablo Ozuna was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring once.  Dee Gordon (Dodgers) was 1-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs.
Este:  Ricardo Nanita (Toronto) was 4-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.  Eugenio Velez was 1-for-2 with a double and two walks, scoring once.
