Home runs carry the Miracle.  The Kernels, GCL Twins, and DSL Twins all lose by one run.

FORT MYERS 8, TAMPA 5 IN TAMPA

Trailing 2-0, the Miracle scored five in the third and led the rest of the way.  A Luis Arraez RBI single was followed by a Mark Contreras grand slam.
Arraez was 4-for-5 and is batting .311.  Caleb Hamilton was 2-for-2 with a two-run homer (his second) and scored twice.  Contreras was 1-for-5 and the grand slam was his fourth homer.  Lewin Diaz was 1-for-4 with a home run, his fifth.  Ben Rortvedt was 0-for-3 with a walk and is batting .302.  Jorge Polanco did not play.   It appears that he has been moved to Rochester.  Miguel Sano was 1-for-5 and is batting .250 (5-for-20).
Clark Beeker pitched 5.2 innings, allowing five runs on ten hits and a walk and striking out five.  Alex Robinson struck out three in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits.  Ryan Mason pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.  His ERA is 2.72.

BELOIT 4, CEDAR RAPIDS 3 IN CEDAR RAPIDS (11 INNINGS)

Four consecutive two-out walks brought home a Kernels run in the seventh to tie it 3-3.  Cedar Rapids loaded the bases with one out in the eighth, but a double play ended the inning.  The Snappers scored on a sacrifice fly in the eleventh.  The Kernels were retired on a fly out and two popups in the bottom of the inning.
Robby Rinn was 1-for-4 with a walk and is batting .326.  Jordan Gore was 0-for-4 with a walk and is batting .301.
Randy Dobnak pitched seven innings, giving up three runs on six hits and three walks and striking out four.  Jovani Moran pitched three shutout innings, giving up one hit and striking out two.  His ERA is 2.23.

ELIZABETHTON TWINS

GCL RAYS 6, GCL TWINS 5 AT RAYS

Aldenis Sanchez hit a two-run triple in a five-run second that put the Rays up 5-2.  The Twins closed to 5-4, but Russ Olive doubled home an insurance run in the fifth.  The Twins had the tying run on third in the sixth and seventh, but their last nine batters were retired.
Tyler Webb was 3-for-5 and is batting .300.  Victor Tademo was 2-for-5 with a double and is batting .321.  Yeltsin Encarnacion was 1-for-4 with a walk and is batting .344.  Austin Hale was 1-for-2 and is batting .333.  Kidany Salva was 0-for-5 and is batting .300.
Kai-Wei Tang pitched four innings, allowing five runs on five hits and three walks and striking out three.  Osiris German pitched three innings, giving up one run on four hits and striking out two.  His ERA is 1.80.  Frandy Torres pitched a perfect inning, striking out one.

DSL METS1 4, DSL TWINS 3 AT METS1 (10 INNINGS)

Jim Caceras singled home a run in the top of the tenth to put the Twins up 3-2.  in the bottom of the tenth, RBI singles by Juan De La Rosa and Patricio Diaz gave the Mets1 the victory.
Caceras was 2-for-5 and is batting .316.  Ruben Santana was 1-for-3 and is batting .355.  Jeferson Morales was 0-for-4 with a walk and is batting .340.
Jose Bermudez pitched 4.2 innings, giving up two runs on six hits and three walks and striking out four.  Yeremi Garcia struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  Fernando Sanchez pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and striking out one.  Danny Moreno struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up only a walk.  His ERA is 1.17.

Games of June 26

Zack Littell pitches well, but the Red Wings lose in an extra inning.  Chris Paul delivers the game winning hit as Lewis Thorpe has a good game.  Jorge Polanco and Miguel Sano have good rehab games.  Edwar Colina throws six shutout innings.  It got late early in Elizabethton.  The GCL Twins and the DSL Twins also fall behind quickly.

SYRACUSE 4, ROCHESTER 3 IN SYRACUSE (10 INNINGS)

Matt Reynolds' RBI single in the eighth tied it 3-3.  The Red Wings failed to advance their runner in the top of the tenth.  In the bottom of the tenth Reynolds struck again, delivering a one-out double to bring home the winning run.
Chris Carter was 2-for-5 with a home run, his sixth.  Nick Gordon was 2-for-5.  Zack Granite was 2-for-5.  Rochester had four starters with averages below .200 and two more below .210.  Byron Buxton did not play.  I don't know the reason.
Zack Littell pitched 6.2 innings, giving up two runs on nine hits and one walk with four strikeouts.  Jake Reed struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and two walks.  His ERA is 2.75.

CHATTANOOGA 5, BILOXI 4 IN CHATTANOOGA

With two out and none on in the ninth, the Shuckers trailed 4-1.  They then got two walks and three singles to score three runs and tie it 4-4.  No worries, as Chris Paul delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to win it.
Paul was 3-for-5 and scored twice.  Mitchell Kranson was 2-for-4.  Jimmy Kerrigan was 2-for-5 with a double and is batting .342.  Alex Perez was 2-for-5 with two runs.
Lewis Thorpe struck out seven in 5.2 innings, giving up one run on four hits and a walk.  Andrew Vasquez retired all seven men he faced, striking out five of them.  His ERA remains zero in 5.2 innings.

TAMPA 10, FORT MYERS 3 IN TAMPA

Leading 3-2, the Yankees scored three in the fourth and one in the fifth to put the game out of reach.
Jorge Polanco was 2-for-3 with a home run and is now 2-for-6.  Taylor Grzelakowski was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.  Miguel Sano was 2-for-3 and is 4-for-15.
Tyler Watson struck out four in three innings but allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits and two walks.

CEDAR RAPIDS 6, BELOIT 0 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Jose Miranda hit a grand slam in the first inning and the Kernels led 4-0 after their first four batters.  Royce Lewis contributed a two-run single in the fourth.
Miranda was 1-for-3 and the home run was his seventh.  Robby Rinn was 1-for-4 and is batting .329.  Lewis was 1-for-3 with a walk and is batting .301.
Edwar Colina pitched six shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk and striking out two.  Jared Finkel pitched three shutout innings, giving up one hit.

JOHNSON CITY 9, ELIZABETHTON 2 IN ELIZABETHTON (GAME 1--5 1/2 INNINGS--SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS--RAIN)

The Cardinals scored seven in the first and it was never a game after that.  In the inning, they got four singles, two walks, two wild pitches, a double, and an error.
Ryan Jeffers was 1-for-2 and is batting .520.  Lean Marrero was 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs.  He is batting .500.  Andrew Cosgrove was 1-for-2 and is batting .500.  Yunior Severino was 1-for-2 and is batting .400.  Jared Akins was 1-for-3 and is batting .379.  Ricky De La Torre was 1-for-2 and is batting .333.  Alex Robles was 0-for-2 and is batting .318.
Pedro Garcia started and six batters, retiring none.  He allowed six runs (four earned) on three hits and two walks.

JOHNSON CITY AT ELIZABETHTON (GAME 2)

GCL RAYS 6, GCL TWINS 2 AT TWINS

The Rays scored three in the first and led all the way.  They had only one hit in the inning, a leadoff single.  They drew three walks and had two wils pitches, a hit batsman, and an error.  They scored three more in the seventh, an inning in which the Twins made four errors.
Aaron Whitefield was 2-for-3 with a walk.  Kidany Salva was 1-for-3 and is batting .400.  Samuel Vasquez was 1-for-4 and is batting .364.  Yeltsin Encarnacion was 1-for-4 and is batting .357.
Tyler Benninghoff pitched 3.1 innings, allowing three runs on two hits and five walks and striking out two.  Dylan Stowell struck out four in 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  His ERA is zero in 4.2 innings.  J. T. Perez struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk.

DSL METS1 7, DSL TWINS 3 AT TWINS

Adrian Hernandez hit a three-run triple in a four-run second that put the Mets up 5-1.  The Twins never got closer than three after that.
Jeferson Morales was 1-for-4 and is batting .367.  Ruben Santana was 1-for-4 and is batting .356.  Jim Caceras was 1-for-3 with a double and is batting .308.  Luis Milla was 1-for-3 and is batting .303.
Anthony Escobar had his first bad game of the season, pitching three innings and giving up six runs (four earned) on four hits and no walks and striking out three.  His ERA is 1.82.  Luciano De La Cruz struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  Giovahniey German struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up only a walk in his DSL debut.  Moises Causado pitched perfect inning and struck out one in his DSL debut.

Games of June 25

Adalberto Mejia pitches well again as the Red Wings split.  Kohl Stewart pitches well in a Lookouts loss.  Bryan Sammons pitches the best of all as the Kernels win.  Victor Tademo has a big game for the GCL Twins.  Wander Valdez goes deep for the DSL Twins.

ROCHESTER 4, SYRACUSE 1 IN SYRACUSE (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)

The Red Wings got one in the second and LaMonte Wade hit a three-run homer in the third.  The lone Chiefs run came in the sixth.
Wade was 1-for-3 with a walk in addition to the home run and scored twice.  Byron Buxton was 0-for-4 and is 3-for-18.
Adalberto Mejia pitched six innings, giving up one run on two hits and two walks and striking out four.  His ERA is 2.74.  John Curtiss struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and two walks.  His ERA is 2.20.

SYRACUSE 3, ROCHESTER 2 IN SYRACUSE (GAME 2--8 INNINGS--SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS)

It was 1-1 through seven.  The Red Wings scored one in the eighth, but the Chiefs tied it on a one-out RBI triple by Matt Reynolds.  The next batter grounded to first.  Kennys Vargas got the out at first base but somehow got his feet tangled up and fell down, allowing the winning run to score.
Jordan Pacheco made his Rochester debut and was 2-for-3.  Edgar Corcino made his season debut for Rochester and was 1-for-3 with a double.  Byron Buxton was 1-for-4 and is 4-for-22.
It was a bullpen game for Rochester.  Gabriel Moya struck out three in 2.2 innings, giving up one run on four hits and no walks.  His ERA was 1.80.  D. J. Baxendale pitched two shutout innings, giving up four hits and no walks and striking out one.  Nick Anderson pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and no walks and striking out two.

BILOXI 4, CHATTANOOGA 2 IN CHATTANOOGA

The Lookouts led 2-1 through seven, but the Shuckers got two in the eighth and one in the ninth.  Lookouts announcer Larry Ward said a couple of the Biloxi hits were "dad-gummed little dinky jam jobs" and that he had "never seen so much horseshoe luck".
Alex Perez was 2-for-4 with a double.  Andy Wilkins was 1-for-2 with a double and two walks and is batting .371.  Jimmy Kerrigan was 1-for-4 and is batting .333.
Kohl Stewart struck out eight in 6.1 innings, giving up one run on eight hits and two walks.  Ryne Harper pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.

CEDAR RAPIDS 3, BELOIT 0 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Jordan Gore singled home a run in the third and the Kernels added two in the eighth.  Bryan Sammons took it from there, pitching an excellent game.
Gore was 2-for-3 and is batting .308.  Jose Miranda was 2-for-4 with two doubles.  Robby Rinn was 0-for-3 with a walk and is batting .333.  Royce Lewis was 0-for-2 with two walks and is batting .301.
Sammons pitched eight shutout innings, giving up five hits and a walk and striking out five.  His ERA is 2.69.  Calvin Faucher struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk.  His ERA is 1.24.

Victor Tademo singled home a run in the fifth to break a 2-2 tie.  The Twins added two more in the eighth.
Tademo was 3-for-5 and is batting .318.  Estamy Urena was 2-for-3 with two walks and is batting .375.  Kidany Salva was 2-for-3 and is batting .417.  Samuel Vasquez was 1-for-1 with three walks and is batting .429.  Yeltsin Encarnacion was 1-for-4 with a walk and is batting .375.
Andriu Marin struck out five in five innings, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks.  Petru Balan pitched two shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out one.  His ERA is zero in 3.2 innings.  Steven Cruz struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up two hits.  His ERA is zero in six innings.

The Twins scored two in the sixth to break a 3-3 tie.  The Rockies got one back in the bottom of the sixth and had the bases loaded with two out, but got only one hit after that, a two-out single in the ninth.

Games of June 24

Jaylin Davis hits his first AA homer.  The Miracle gets no-hit.  Big innings carry Cedar Rapids and Elizabethton as Brusdar Graterol has another good game.

The game was suspended after 3 1/2 innings with the RailRiders leading 4-1.  Tyler Austin hit a three-run homer.  Byron Buxton was 0-for-2 as the designated hitter.

BILOXI 6, CHATTANOOGA 3 IN CHATTANOOGA

Luis Aviles, Jr. doubled home a run in the seventh to break a 3-3 tie.  The Shuckers added two runs in the ninth.
Jaylin Davis was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer.  He is batting .300.  Andy Wilkins was 2-for-4 with a triple.  He is batting .364.
Anthony Marzi struck out five in five innings, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks.  Todd Van Steensel struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up two walks.  His ERA is 1.64.

BRADENTON 5, FORT MYERS 0 IN BRADENTON (7 1/2 INNINGS--RAIN)

Oddy Nunez pitched an eight-inning no-hitter for the Marauders, striking out six and walking two.  Hunter Owen hit a two-run triple in the fifth to break a scoreless tie.
Alex Kirilloff was 0-for-2 and is batting .421.  Luis Arraez was 0-for-3 and is batting .302.  Shane Carrier was 0-for-2 with a walk and is batting .082.  Jorge Polanco began a rehab assignment and was 0-for-3.

It was scoreless through three, but the Kernels scored ten in the fourth.  Andrew Bechtold hit a two-run homer in the inning, in which Cedar Rapids sent fourteen men to the plate.
Jacob Pearson was 4-for-5 with a home run (his second) and a triple, scoring three times and driving in three.  He is batting .351 (13-for-37) in his last nine games.  Robby Rinn was 3-for-4 with a double and a walk, driving in two.  His average is .346.  Jose Miranda was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in five.  Jean Carlos Arias was 2-for-5 with a triple, scoring twice.  Jordan Gore was 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk, scoring twice.  His average is .301.  Bechtold was 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk.

A good day for Nick Gordon.  Brent Rooker hits his eleventh homer.  Alex Kirilloff keeps hitting.  Jean Carlos Arias has a big day.  The E-Twins and the GCL Twins get three hits apiece.  Errors sink the DSL Twins.

SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 4, ROCHESTER 2 IN ROCHESTER

The Red Wings were up 1-0 through five, but Brandon Drury hit a two-run homer in the sixth and the RailRiders led the rest of the way.  Four of the last six Rochester batters struck out.
Nick Gordon was 3-for-4.  Willians Astudillo was 2-for-4 with a double.
Aaron Slegers pitched 6.1 innings, giving up three runs on eight hits and no walks and striking out four.  Gabriel Moya pitched a perfect inning, striking out one.

BILOXI 5, CHATTANOOGA 2 IN CHATTANOOGA

The Lookouts led 1-0 through six, but Luis Aviles, Jr. hit a two-run double in a three-run seventh and the Shuckers led the rest of the way.  Chattanooga had just five hits.

The Marauders led 3-0 through two, but the Miracle scored four in the third and led the rest of the way.
Alex Kirilloff was 3-for-5 with a double and is batting .471.  Brandon Lopez was 2-for-2 with a walk.  Luis Arraez was 2-for-5 with a double and is batting .307.  Ben Rortvedt was 2-for-5 and is batting .361.  Travis Blankenhorn was 2-for-5.
Griffin Jax pitched seven innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits and one walk and striking out one.  Ryan Mason struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up three hits.  His ERA is 2.79.

CEDAR RAPIDS 5, WISCONSIN 3 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Jean Carlos Arias hit a three-run homer in a four-run third, and that was all the Kernels needed.  The Timber Rattlers cut the margin to 4-3 after five, Arias tripled and scored in the seventh for an insurance run.

Mason Martin homered in the fourth and hit a two-run homer in a three run sixth.  The Twins had just three hits, all singles.

The Red Sox broke a scoreless tie with two in the fifth and led the rest of the way.  The Twins had just three hits.

DSL ROCKIES 6, DSL TWINS 2 AT TWINS (6 INNINGS--RAIN)

The Twins led 2-0 after two, but the Rockies tied it with two in the fourth and took charge with four in the fifth.  The fifth inning consisted of a walk, two errors, and a three-run homer by Julio Carreras.  The Twins made five errors in the game.
Yelinson Pena was 2-for-2.  Carlos Aguiar was 2-for-3 with a double.  Ruben Santana was 1-for-3 with a double and is batting .380.  Victor Heredia was 0-for-4 and is batting .340.  Francisco Martinez was 0-for-3 and is batting .316.

Games of June 22

Byron Buxton hits a home run and Stephen Gonsalves pitches five shutout innings.  Omar Bencomo has a rare bad outing.  Luis Arraez and Alex Kirilloff stay hot as Miguel Sano does not.  Another good game for Bailey Ober.  No one can get Ryan Jeffers out.  Felix Jorge looks good in a rehab assignment.  The DSL Twins get blown out late.

ROCHESTER 3, SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 1 IN ROCHESTER

Byron Buxton hit a three-run homer in the fifth.  The lone RailRiders run came in the eighth.
Gregorio Petit was 2-for-3.  Buxton was 1-for-4.  Wynston Sawyer was 1-for-3 and is batting .323.
Stephen Gonsalves struck out five in five shutout innings, giving up two hits and five walks.  Jake Reed struck out two in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and two walks.  His ERA is 2.95.

BILOXI 7, CHATTANOOGA 2 IN CHATTANOOGA

Troy Stokes, Jr. hit a two-run homer in a four-run first and the Shuckers controlled the game all the way.  There was a two hour, thirty minute rain delay at the start of the game.
Brent Rooker was 2-for-4 with a double.  Chris Paul was 2-for-4.  Jimmy Kerrigan was 1-for-4 and is batting .400.  Mitchell Kranson was 1-for-4 with a double and is batting .313.  Jaylin Davis was 0-for-4 in his AA debut.
Omar Bencomo lasted just one inning, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk.  His ERA is 2.77.  Andrew Vasquez struck out five in two shutout innings, giving up no hits and two walks.  His ERA remains zero in 3.1 innings.  Cody Stashak struck out four in two perfect innings.  Sam Clay struck out four in two perfect innings.  Todd Van Steensel pitched a scoreless inning, giving up no hits and no walks and striking out one.  His ERA is 1.70.

The Marauders actually led 3-1 after one inning.  The Miracle scored in every inning except the seventh.
Luis Arraez was 5-for-6 with a home run and a double, scoring four times.  He is batting .304.  In his last nine games he is batting .477 (21-for-44).  Mark Contreras was 4-for-5 with a double, scoring three times and driving in four.  Alex Kirilloff was 4-for-6 with a home run and five RBIs.  He is batting .417.  Lewin Diaz was 3-for-4 with a walk and scored twice.  Ben Rortvedt was 2-for-4 with two home runs and a walk, scoring three times and driving in four.  He is batting .355.  Shane Carrier was 0-for-5 and is now batting .085 in 47 at-bats.  Miguel Sano was 0-for-4 with two walks.
Tyler Wells pitched six innings, giving up three runs on six hits and a walk and striking out four.  His ERA is 2.68.  Hector Lujan pitched a perfect inning.

CEDAR RAPIDS 3, WISCONSIN 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Trey Cabbage tripled and scored on a David Banuelos single in the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie.  The Timber Rattlers did not get a hit after the sixth.
Jean Carlos Arias was 2-for-3 with a double.  Robby Rinn was 0-for-4 and is batting .324.  Royce Lewis was 1-for-4 and is batting .304.
Bailey Ober struck out nine in five innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk.  Calvin Faucher pitched three shutout innings, giving up two walks and striking out two.  His ERA is 1.29.

ELIZABETHTON 19, BRISTOL 5 IN BRISTOL

The Twins scored in every inning except the fourth.  It was still only an 8-5 lead until the Twins scored seven runs in the seventh.
