Mexican League: Games of November 22

GUASAVE 7, MEXICALI 1 IN GUASAVE


Twins: Chris Colabello was 0-for-4.
Game summary: Guasave scored two in the third to take a 3-1 lead, then got four in the fifth to take control.
Mexicali: Ricky Alvarez was 2-for-3 with a double.
Guasave: Andrew Sisco allowed only an unearned run in seven innings, giving up five hits and a walk. Eduardo Arredondo was 3-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.

OBREGON 3, LOS MOCHIS 1 IN OBREGON

Game summary: Obregon scored single runs in the third, fifth, and sixth. The lone Los Mochis tally came in the eighth.
Los Mochis: Saul Soto was 2-for-4.
Obregon: Rolando Valdez threw six shutout innings, giving up five hits and two walks. Barbaro Canizares was 2-for-4 with a home run.

CULIACAN 7, HERMOSILLO 1 IN CULIACAN

Game summary: Culiacan scored three in the first and four in the fifth to take a 7-0 lead.
Hermosillo: Francisco Gil struck out two in two shutout innings. Jesse Gutierrez hit a home run.
Culiacan: Andres Meza pitched seven innings, giving up one run on six hits and three walks while striking out seven. Ben Guez was 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, and a two-run homer.

NAVOJOA 6, MAZATLAN 5 IN NAVOJOA

Game summary: Mazatlan led 4-1 after four. Navojoa scored four in the seventh on a Jose Chavez grand slam to take a 6-4 lead. Jesse Castillo homered in the ninth to make it 6-5, but the tying run did not reach base.
Mazatlan: Castillo was 2-for-4. Oswaldo Morejon was 1-for-3 with a homer and a walk and scored twice.
Navojoa: Alejandro Soto struck out four in three shutout innings, allowing just one hit. Chavez was 2-for-4 and scored twice.
