Dominican League: Games of November 9


ESTE 10, ORIENTE 4 IN ESTE

Twins:  Miguel Sano (Oriente) was 1-for-2 with a two-run homer and two walks.
Game summary:  Este took the early lead with four in the first and broke the game open with four in the eighth.
Oriente:  Marlon Arias allowed no hits and no walks in 2.1 innings.
Este:  Hector Gomez (Milwaukee) was 2-for-4 with two doubles and scored once.  Charlie Blackmon (Colorado) was 1-for-3 with a double and two walks, scoring twice and driving in two.

LICEY 3, ESCOGIDO 2 IN ESCOGIDO

Game summary:  A two-run eighth gave Licey a 3-2 win.
Licey:  Jurickson Profar (Texas) was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.  Engel Beltre (Texas) was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Escogido:  Daniel Cabrera worked 5.2 innings, allowing one run on eight hits and a walk.  Mauro Gomez (Boston) was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a walk.

AGUILAS 2, CIBAO 1 IN AGUILAS

Game summary:  Francisco Pena (Mets) hit an RBI double in the sixth to break a 1-1 tie.
Cibao:  Jose De Paula (San Diego) struck out three in 2.1 innings, allowing an unearned run on two hits.
Aguilas:  Angel Castro worked five hitless innings of relief, walking two.  Pena was 3-for-3 with two doubles.
