BRISBANE 1, CANBERRA 0 IN BRISBANE (GAME 1—SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS)

Twins:  Logan Wade (Brisbane) was 1-for-2.
Game summary:  The lone run scored in the fourth on a double play with the bases loaded and none out.
Canberra:  Robert Dickmann allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out four in five innings.
Brisbane:  Chris Smith struck out twelve in a complete game, walking none and giving up three hits.  Cody Clark was 2-for-3 with a double.

BRISBANE 6, CANBERRA 1 IN BRISBANE (GAME 2—3 INNINGS—SUSPENDED GAME)

All the scoring so far has come in the second inning.

PERTH 9, MELBOURNE 4 IN PERTH

Twins:  Joshua Hendricks (Melbourne) was 0-for-1 with two walks and scored once.
Game summary:  Perth scored two in the sixth to take a 3-1 lead and got six in the seventh to put the game away.
Melbourne:  Elliot Biddle doubled and scored.
Perth:  Anthony Claggett gave up one run on three hits and a walk in seven innings.  Carter Bell (Arizona) was 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs.
