GUASAVE 9, OBREGON 5 IN OBREGON

Twins:  Chris Colabello (Guasave) was 1-for-4 with a grand slam (his thirteenth homer) and scored twice.

Game summary:  Guasave led 5-0 after four and a half, but Obregon scored two in the fifth and three in the sixth to tie.  Guasave came back to score four in the eighth with Jesus Cota delivering the key hit, a two-run triple.

Guasave:  Zelous Wheeler (Baltimore) was 3-for-5 with a double.  Japhet Amador was 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.

Obregon:  Carlos Valencia was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run.

MAZATLAN 7, NAVOJOA 0 IN MAZATLAN

Twins:  Gonzalo Sanudo pitched two-thirds of an inning and gave up only a walk.

Game summary:  Mazatlan scored four in the fifth to break a scoreless tie.

Navojoa:  Jose Chavez was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.  Amadeo Zazueta was 2-for-3 with a double.

Mazatlan:  Jay Jackson (Cubs) pitched seven innings, allowing five hits and two walks.  Humberto Sosa was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.

LOS MOCHIS 7, CULIACAN 5 IN LOS MOCHIS

Game summary:  Trailing 5-4, Los Mochis scored three times in the eighth on four singles and two walks.

Culiacan:  Ramiro Pena was 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk, scoring twice.  Cesar Tapia hit a two-run homer.

Los Mochis:  Jermaine Curtis (St. Louis) was 3-for-3 with two walks, scoring twice and driving in one.  Alexis Gomez was 3-for-5 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.

MEXICALI 5, HERMOSILLO 4 IN MEXICALI (10 INNINGS)

Game summary:  Roman Pena tripled with one out in the tenth and scored on an RBI single by Issmael Salas.

Hermosillo:  Erick Rodriguez was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and scored twice.

Mexicali:  Yuniesky Betancourt was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and scored twice.  Luis Juarez was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
