Mexican League: Games of December 20

HERMOSILLO 6, GUASAVE 2 IN HERMOSILLO

Twins: Chris Colabello (Guasave) was 0-for-4.
Game summary: Guasave scored two in the first, but Hermosillo came back to take a 3-2 lead after four and scored three in the sixth to take control.
Guasave: Japhet Amador was 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs.
Hermosillo: Jonathan Castellanos struck out four in four shutout innings of relief, allowing two hits and a walk. Jesse Gutierrez was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk, scoring twice.

CULIACAN 4, NAVOJOA 2 IN CULIACAN (10 INNINGS)

Game summary: Each team scored once in the first. There was no more scoring until the tenth, when Navojoa scored once only to see Culiacan come back with three. Ronnier Mustelier (Yankees) homered to tie the game and Ramiro Pena (Atlanta) hit a two-run walk-off homer.
Navojoa: Javier Martinez pitched 7.1 innings, giving up one run on five hits and a walk while striking out six. Genaro Andrade was 2-for-4 with a double and scored once.
Culiacan: Francisco Campos allowed an unearned run on four hits and no walks in seven innings. Pena was 3-for-5 with a double.

MAZATLAN 1, OBREGON 0 IN OBREGON (11 INNINGS)

Game summary: Mario Santana delivered an RBI single with two out in the tenth.
Mazatlan: Jeff Bennett pitched six shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk. Oswaldo Morejon was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk.
Obregon: Arturo Lopez pitched six shutout innings, allowing six hits and three walks. Iker Franco was 1-for-2 with two walks.

MEXICALI 11, LOS MOCHIS 7 IN MEXICALI

Game summary: Los Mochis had leads of 1-0, 6-2, and 7-6 before Mexicali rallied for four in the seventh to take the lead.
Los Mochis: Sandy Madera was 3-for-5 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in three. Jason Botts was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and a walk.
Mexicali: Luke Montz (Oakland) was 3-for-5 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in four. Ricky Alvarez was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring once and driving in one.
