Venezuelan League: Games of October 27

MAGALLANES 6, ARAGUA 5 IN MAGALLANES (10 INNINGS)


Twins: Oswaldo Arcia (Aragua) was 1-for-5 and struck out once. Angel Mata (Aragua) pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.
Game summary: Carlos Maldonado hit a walk-off homer leading off the bottom of the tenth.
Aragua: Jae-Hoon Ha (Cubs) was 3-for-5 with an RBI. Jose Martinez (Houston) was 2-for-4 and scored twice.
Magallanes: Eliezer Alfonzo was 2-for-5 with a home run and scored twice. Erold Andrus was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk and drove in one.

MARGARITA 2, ZULIA 1 IN ZULIA

Twins: Aaron Hicks (Margarita) was 0-for-3 with a walk, scoring once and striking out twice. Sean Burroughs (Margarita) was 1-for-4 with an RBI and struck out once.
Game summary: Margarita scored both of their runs in the sixth to break a scoreless tie.
Margarita: Luis Chirinos (Washington) allowed six hits and no walks in six shutout innings.
