ORIENTE 9, CIBAO 6 IN CIBAO

Twins:  Drew Butera (Oriente) was 0-for-4 and scored once.
Game summary:  Oriente scored three in the fifth to break a 4-4 tie, then added two in the sixth to take control.
Oriente:  Todd Linden (San Francisco) was 2-for-4 with two home runs.  Denis Phipps (Cincinnati) was 2-for-4 with a home run, driving in two.
Cibao:  Jean Segura (Milwaukee) was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and scored twice.  Marcell Ozuna (Miami) walked and hit a two-run homer.

AGUILAS 2, ESCOGIDO 0 IN AGUILAS

Twins:  Pedro Florimon (Escogido) was 0-for-3 with a sacrifice bunt.
Game summary:  Aguilas scored single runs in the fifth and eighth.
Escogido:  Edward Valdez gave up one run on four hits and two walks in five innings.  Gary Sanchez (Yankees) was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk.
Aguilas:  Miguel Batista (Mets) pitched four shutout innings, giving up five hits but no walks.  Juan Carlos Perez was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
