HERMOSILLO 2, LOS MOCHIS 1 IN LOS MOCHIS (GAME 1—SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS)

Game summary:  Jesse Gutierrez hit a two-run homer in the third to provide all the runs for Hermosillo.
Hermosillo:  Victor Alvarez allowed one run in 3.2 innings.  Zech Zinicola (Washington) worked two shutout innings.
Los Mochis:  Sandy Madera was 1-for-2 with a walk and score the only run.

LOS MOCHIS 2, HERMOSILLO 1 IN LOS MOCHIS (GAME 2—SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS)

Game summary:  Sandy Madera’s double in the third put Los Mochis ahead and ended the scoring.
Hermosillo:  Javier Solano (Dodgers) worked 1.2 scoreless innings.
Los Mochis:  Luis Suarez was 3-for-3 and scored the go-ahead run.  Mauricio Lara gave up one run on three hits in five innings.

CULIACAN 8, NAVOJOA 4 IN CULIACAN

Game summary:  Culican led 5-4 after seven, then scored three in the eighth to put it away.
Navojoa:  Matt Esquivel was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run.
Culiacan:  Maxwell Leon and Marlon Byrd each went 2-for-5 with a home run, and each drove in two.

MEXICALI 2, OBREGON 1 IN OBREGON

Game summary:  Chris Roberson tripled in the tying run and came around to score the winning run in the seventh.
Mexicali:  Jon Weber was 2-for-3 with a walk.  Roberson was 2-for-4.
Obregon:  Oswaldo Martinez struck out four in 4.2 scoreless innings.  Alfredo Amezaga (Cubs) was 2-for-4.

GUASAVE AT MAZATLAN
