PEORIA 3, SURPRISE 2 IN PEORIA

Twins: None.
Game summary: In a 2-2 tie in the fifth, Billy Hamilton (Cincinnati) bunted for a hit, stole second, took third on the catcher’s throwing error, and scored on an infield out to give the Javelinas the lead for good.
Surprise: Ryan Pressly (Boston) pitched two shutout innings.
Peoria: Donald Lutz (Cincinnati) was 3-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer. Stefen Romero (Seattle) was 2-for-3 with a double.

PHOENIX 10, MESA 6 IN PHOENIX

Game summary: The Devil Dogs scored three in the second and three in the fourth on their way to an 8-2 lead after five innings.
Mesa: Jonathan Singleton (Houston) was 2-for-4 with a home run and a walk, scoring twice. Rafael Ynoa (Dodgers) was 1-for-3 with a triple, driving in three.
Phoenix: Kyle Jensen (Miami) was 4-for-5 with a double, driving in three. Jake Realmuto (Miami) was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring once and driving in two.

SCOTTSDALE 1, SALT RIVER 0 IN SCOTTSDALE

Game summary: Back-to-back triples by Gary Brown (San Francisco) and Joe Panik (San Francisco) plated the only run in the eighth.
Salt River: Ryan Tepera (Toronto) pitched four shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk.
Scottsdale: Brown went 2-for-4 with a double as well as the triple. T. J. House (Cleveland) pitched five hitless innings, walking three and striking out four.
