GUASAVE 9, MAZATLAN 4 IN MAZATLAN

Twins:  Chris Colabello was 3-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one for Guasave.
Game summary:  Guasave scored four in the fourth to take a 7-2 lead.
Guasave:  Zelous Wheeler (Baltimore) was 3-for-5 with a home run, scoring three times.  Japhet Amador was 2-for-3 with a walk and a home run, scoring twice and driving in three.
Mazatlan:  Heber Gomez was 3-for-4 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in two.  Jesus Castillo hit a home run.

CULIACAN 3, NAVOJOA 0 IN CULICAN (6 INNINGS—RAIN)

Game Summary:  Culiacan scored all three runs in the fourth.
Navojoa:  Abel Martinez had the team’s only hit, a single.
Culiacan:  Amauri Sanit gave up one hit and two walks in five innings.  Cory Aldridge (Angels) was 2-for-3 with a double and a home run.

MEXICALI 4, OBREGON 3 IN OBREGON

Game summary:  Mexicali scored three in the fourth, led 4-0 after six, and held on.
Mexicali  Irwin Delgado struck out eight in 5.2 innings, giving up one hit and four walks.  Issmael Salas was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run.
Obregon:  Alfredo Amezaga (Cubs) was 2-for-3 with two walks.
