PEORIA 7, SCOTTSDALE 2 IN PEORIA

Twins: Evan Bigley was 2-for-4 and scored once. Nate Roberts was 1-for-2 with a walk. He scored once, drove in one, and struck out once. Kyle Gibson struck out three in three shutout innings, giving up three hits and two walks.
Game summary: Peoria built a 4-0 lead through five innings and scored three in the eighth to put the game away.
Scottsdale: Ronny Rodriguez (Cleveland) was 2-for-4 with a triple and scored once. Ricky Oropesa (San Francisco) was 2-for-5.
Peoria: Zach Collier (Philadelphia) was 3-for-5 with a triple, scoring once and driving in three. Jeudy Valdez (San Diego) was 1-for-3 with two walks, scoring twice and driving in one.

SURPRISE 5, SALT RIVER 4 IN SALT RIVER (10 INNINGS)

Game summary: A single and three two-out walks brought in the winning run.
Surprise: Kolten Wong (St. Louis) was 3-for-5 with a run and three RBIs. Alex McClure (Kansas City) was 2-for-4, scoring twice and driving in one.
Salt River: Brian Goodwin (Washington) was 3-for-4 with a walk and a home run. Ryan Perry (Washington) struck out four in four perfect innings.

MESA 7, PHOENIX 7 IN PHOENIX (11 INNINGS)

Game summary: Rafael Ynoa hit an inside-the-park home run for Mesa to tie the score in the ninth.
Mesa: Jonathan Schoop (Baltimore) was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring twice. Aaron Westlake (Detroit) was 2-for-5 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in three.
Phoenix: Christian Yelich (Miami) was 3-for-5 with two doubles and a walk, scoring once. Kyle Jensen (Miami) was 2-for-6 with a game-tying grand slam in the seventh.
