ORIENTE 8, ESCOGIDO 7 IN ORIENTE

Twins: Pedro Florimon (Escogido) was 1-for-5 and scored once. Miguel Sano (Oriente) was 1-for-4 with a walk and struck out once. Drew Butera (Oriente) was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, striking out twice.
Game summary: A bases-loaded balk scored the winning run for Oriente in the bottom of the ninth.
Escogido: Roger Kieschnick (San Francisco) was 2-for-5 with a home run. Buck Britton (Baltimore) was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.
Oriente: Todd Linden (San Francisco) was 2-for-4 with a double. Daniel Robertson (San Diego) was 2-for-4 and scored once.

AGUILAS 3, ESTE 2 IN AGUILAS

Game summary: Aguilas broke a scoreless tie with two in the third and never trailed.
Este: Diory Hernandez (Cubs) was 2-for-4. Eugenio Velez hit a home run.
Aguilas: Tony Abreu (Kansas City) was 4-for-4 with an RBI. Lorenzo Barcelo (Dodgers) allowed one run on five hits and no walks while striking out five in six innings.

CIBAO 6, LICEY 1 IN LICEY

Game summary: Cibao scored four in the second to take a commanding lead early.
