Twins:  Chris Colabello (Guasave) was used as a pinch-hitter and was 0-for-1.

Game summary:  Saul Soto hit a three-run homer in the ninth to break a 4-4 tie.

Los Mochis:  Soto was 2-for-3 with a double and two walks, driving in four.  Carlos Orrantia was 2-for-4 with a home run.

Guasave:  Eduardo Arredando was 3-for-4 with a walk and scored twice.  Jose Rodriguez was 2-for-5 with a three-run homer.

MAZATLAN 8, OBREGON 5 IN OBREGON

Game summary:  Leading 5-4, Mazatlan scored three in the ninth to take control.

Mazatlan:  Heber Gomez was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring twice and driving in one.  Joey Butler was 2-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.

Obregon:  Alfredo Amezaga (Cubs) was 2-for-4 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in two.  Barbaro Canizares hit a two-run homer.

Game summary:  Mexicali scored one in the sixth to break a 4-4 tie and got two insurance runs in the seventh.

Mexicali:  Jon Weber was 3-for-5 with a double and scored twice.  Oscar Robles was 2-for-5 with a double and a home run.

Culiacan:  Cory Aldridge (Angels) was 2-for-5 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in one.  Marlon Byrd was 2-for-5 with a home run and scored twice.

HERMOSILLO 1, NAVOJOA 0 IN NAVOJOA

Game summary:  Karim Garcia homered in the sixth for the only run of the game.

Hermosillo:  Garrett Mock (Houston) struck out four in five shutout innings.  Zech Zinicola (Washington) struck out three in 1.2 scoreless innings.

Navojoa:  Salvador Robles struck out five in four hitless innings.  Hugo Gutierrez retired all four batters he faced, recording five outs.
