ORIENTE 4, AGUILAS 1 IN AGUILAS
Oriente: Alberto Rosario (Dodgers) was 2-for-4 with a
double and two RBIs. Juan Diaz (White
Sox) was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring once. Ryan Rowland-Smith (Cincinnati) pitched 4.1
innings, giving up one run on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
Aguilas: Jonathan Villar (Houston) was 2-for-3 with a
home run, his third. Manny Ramirez
(Cubs) was 2-for-3 with a walk. Sugar
Ray Marimon (Atlanta) struck out seven in six innings, allowing one run on four
hits and a walk.
The game: It was tied 1-1 after eight. In the ninth, Jake Fox (Philadelphia) hit an
RBI double to put Oriente ahead and Rosario doubled in two insurance runs.
