Arizona Fall League: Game of November 15: AFL Championship


Sevens are lucky for Salt River!

SALT RIVER 14, PEORIA 7 IN SCOTTSDALE (HOME TEAM:  SALT RIVER)

Twins:  Eddie Rosario was 4-for-5 with a home run and a double, scoring twice and driving in two.  Max Kepler was 0-for-4 with a walk, scoring once and driving in one.  Taylor Rogers pitched 1.2 innings, giving up one run on one hit.
Peoria:  Justin O'Conner (Tampa Bay) was 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs.  Hunter Dozier (Kansas City) was 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk.  Sam Tuivailala (St. Louis) pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout.
Salt River:  Ryan Casteel (Colorado) was 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in three.  Mitch Lambson (Houston) pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout.
The game:  It was 7-7 after six, but a seven-run seventh for Salt River put the game out of reach.  Justin Bohn (Miami) had a two-run single and Taylor Featherston (Colorado) had a three-run double in the inning.
Congratulations to Salt River on winning the Arizona Fall League Championship!
