Sydney: David Kandilas was 3-for-6 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in three. Trent Oeltjen was 2-for-5 with two doubles, scoring twice and driving in three.
Canberra: L. B. Dantzler was 2-for-4 with a double. Aaron Sloan was 1-for-2 with a walk.
The game: Syndey broke a scoreless tie in the fifth in a big way, scoring five times on a walk, two singles, and three doubles, all with two out. It was never a game after that.
