Mexican Pacific League: Game of October 27


A big day for Corey Wimberly.

OBREGON 5, JALISCO 4 IN JALISCO

Twins:  Corey Wimberly was 3-for-4 with a double and a run.
Obregon:  Jake Smolinski (Texas) was 1-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring twice.  Oswaldo Martinez pitched two perfect innings with one strikeout.
Jalisco:  Eduardo Arredondo was 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs.  Marquez Smith (Cincinnati) was 1-for-4 with a home run, his fourth.  Kenneth Sigman struck out two in 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk.
The game:  Jalisco led 4-3 after four.  In the fifth, Agustin Murillo singled in the tying run and the go-ahead run scored on a force out.  Jalisco threatened in the seventh, putting two on with one out, but two fly outs ended the inning.
