Venezuelan League: Games of January 7

Sorry about the lack of posts recently.  I've been out sick, and was in the hospital overnight.  I'm better now, so here we go.

CARACAS 5, ANZOATEGUI 3 IN CARACAS

Twins: Oswaldo Arcia (Anzoategui) was 1-for-4. Eduardo Escobar (Anzoategui) was 0-for-3. Dakota Watts (Anzoategui) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up one run and one hit.
Game summary: Caracas scored two in the seventh to break a 3-3 tie.
Anzoategui: Alex Serrano struck out four in 3.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and one walk. Jose Castillo was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.
Caracas: Carlos Rivero (Washington) was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk. Jesus Aguilar (Cleveland) was 2-for-4 with a home run.

LARA 8, MAGALLANES 5 IN LARA

Game summary: Magallanes scored three in the first, but Lara scored eight runs in the seventh.
Magallanes: Eliezer Alfonzo was 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs. Endy Chavez was 3-for-5.
Lara: Luis Valbuena was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk, scoring twice and driving in three. Raul Rivero pitched 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing four hits and two walks.
