ESCOGIDO 8, AGUILAS 5 IN ESCOGIDO
Game summary: It went back and forth early. Escogido led 1-0 after two, Aguilas went up 4-1 after three, Escogido was ahead 5-4 after four, and Aguilas tied it at five after five. Escogido finally took control with a three-run rally in the seventh.
Aguilas: Leury Garcia (Texas) was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring once and driving in one. Hector Luna was 2-for-5 with a three-run homer.
Escogido: Starling Marte (Pittsburgh) was 3-for-4 with a double and scored twice. Wilkin Castillo (Dodgers) was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Escogido leads the series two games to none.
