Venezuelan League: Games of January 6

Sorry the updates are so late today, but I was feeling miserable this morning.

CARACAS 12, ANZOATEGUI 1 IN ANZOATEGUI

Twins: Oswaldo Arcia (Anzoategui) was 1-for-2.
Game summary: Caracas led 6-0 after three and 11-0 after six.
Caracas: Yohan Pino pitched five shutout innings, giving up three hits and no walks. Yorvit Torrealba was 2-for-5 with two home runs, scoring three times and driving in five.
Anzoategui: Cesar Suarez was 1-for-2 and scored once. Richard Salazar pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, allowing no hits and one walk.

ZULIA 7, MAGALLANES 3 IN MAGALLANES

Game summary: Zulia led 6-0 after three. Magallanes scored all three runs in the seventh.
Zulia: Austin Bibens-Dirkx struck out five in six shutout innings, giving up three hits and two walks. Ernesto Mejia (Atlanta) was 4-for-5, scoring once and driving in one.
Magallanes: Endy Chavez (Kansas City) was 2-for-4 with a walk and scored once. Orangel Arenas (Angels) pitched three shutout innings, allowing four hits but no walks.
