Players of the Week: April 21-27, 2014

ROCHESTER

Position player:  Chris Parmelee was 11-for-29 with two doubles, two homers, and three walks.  For the season he is hitting .330/.388/.511 in 88 at-bats.
Pitcher:  Logan Darnell made two starts, giving up three earned runs on eight hits and three walks with twelve strikeouts in 11.1 innings.  For the season, he is 0-0, 1.69, 1.03 WHIP in four starts (21.1 innings).

NEW BRITAIN

Position player:  Kennys Vargas was 12-for-27 with three doubles, a home run, and two walks.  For the season he is hitting .286/.356/.455 in 77 at-bats.
Pitcher:  Virgil Vasquez made two starts, giving up no runs on six hits and one walk with ten strikeouts in thirteen innings.  For the season he is 0-0, 1.15, 0.83 WHIP in 15.2 innings (four appearances, two starts).

FORT MYERS

Pitcher:  Kohl Stewart made one start, giving up no runs on one hit and one walk with six strikeouts in six innings.  For the season he is 1-1, 3.15, 0.75 WHIP in four starts (20 innings).
