Players of the Week: April 14-20, 2014

ROCHESTER

Position player:  Chris Parmelee was 9-for-25 with a double, a home run, and four walks.  For the season, he is hitting .305/.390/.481 in 59 at-bats.

Pitcher:  Yohan Pino pitched seven shutout innings, giving up two hits and three walks while striking out four.  For the season, he is 2-0, 0.59, 0.78 WHIP with 12 strikeouts in 15.1 innings.

NEW BRITAIN

Position player:  Reynaldo Rodriguez was 5-for-13 with a double, a home run and a walk.  For the season, he is hitting .283/.353/.457 in 46 at-bats.

CEDAR RAPIDS

Pitcher:  Brandon Peterson pitched 5.1 scoreless innings, giving up three hits and no walks with seven strikeouts.  For the season, he is 1-0, 0.93, 0.93 WHIP with 2 walks and 14 strikeouts in 9.2 innings (six appearances).
