Batting stars: Eric Fryer was 3-for-4 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in three. Darin Mastroianni was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring once and driving in one. Chris Colabello was 2-for-5 with a double.
Pitching stars: A. J. Achter struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up two hits and no walks. Shairon Martis pitched two shutout innings, giving up one hit and no walks with one strikeout.

Key inning: The sixth. The Mets trailed 4-0. Starter Matthew Summers had a no-hitter through five innings, but opened the sixth with two walks. A ground out put runners on second and third. Josh Rodriguez singled in a run, and Ryan O'Rourke replaced Summers. A walk loaded the bases, Allen Dykstra singled in a run, and Johnson came in to pitch. Cory Vaughn singled to tie the score and Travis Taijeron doubled to put Binghamton in the lead.
