Players of the Week: May 18-24, 2015

ROCHESTER
Batter:  Kennys Vargas was 8-for-19 with a double, two home runs, and a walk.  Those are also his season numbers in Rochester.
Pitcher:  Tommy Milone made two starts, pitching 17.1 innings.  He gave up one run on twelve hits and no walks with twenty-one strikeouts.  For the season, he is 4-0, 0.28, 0.69 WHIP with 2 walks and 41 strikeouts in 31.2 innings (4 starts).
CHATTANOOGA
Batter:  Byron Buxton was 12-for-31 with a double, four triples, a home run, three walks, and three stolen bases.  For the season he is hitting .267/.323/.506 and is 13-for-14 in stolen bases in 176 at-bats.
Pitcher:  Nick Burdi appeared in two games, pitching four innings.  He gave up no runs on four hits and no walks with five strikeouts.  For the season, he is 3-3, 1 save, 5.50, 1.83 WHIP with 20 strikeouts in 18 innings (13 games).
FORT MYERS
Batter:  Jason Kanzler was 7-for-20 with a double, a home run, four walks, and two stolen bases.  For the season he is hitting .254/.344/.373 and is 10-for-15 in stolen bases in 174 at-bats.
Pitcher:  Aaron Slegers made two starts, pitching fourteen innings.  He gave up no runs on seven hits and two walks with eleven strikeouts.  For the season, he is 3-2, 2.59, 0.97 WHIP with 8 walks and 31 strikeouts in 48.2 innings (8 starts).
CEDAR RAPIDS
Batter:  Trey Vavra was 11-for-34 with a double, two home runs, a walk, and a stolen base.  For the season he is hitting .342/.399/.529 and is 2-for-2 in stolen bases in 155 at-bats.
Pitcher:  Stephen Gonsalves made two starts, pitching ten innings.  He gave up two runs on seven hits and three walks with eleven strikeouts.  For the season, he is 4-1, 1.50, 0.81 WHIP with 10 walks and 54 strikeouts in 42 innings (7 starts).
