CULIACAN 6, MEXICALI 3 IN CULIACAN

Twins:  Eric Farris was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Culiacan.

Mexicali:  Chris Roberson was 2-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in two.  Dave Sappelt was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.  Marco Antonio Duarte struck out six in six innings, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks.

Culiacan:  Issmael Salalas was 1-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in two.  Maxwell Leon was 3-for-4 with an RBI.  Arnold Leon (Oakland) struck out seven in seven innings, allowing two runs on two hits and four walks.

The game:  Mexicali scored two in the second to go up 2-1.  It stayed 2-1 until the seventh, when Culiacan scored five to take control of the game.  They drew four walks and had a hit batsman in the inning.
