Mexican League: Games of December 4


GUASAVE 4, OBREGON 2 IN OBREGON

Twins:  Chris Colabello (Guasave) was 0-for-3 with a walk.
Game summary:  Guasave led 2-0 after eight.  Each team scored two in the ninth, but Obregon did not get the tying run up to bat.
Guasave:  Andrew Sisco pitched 8.1 innings, giving up two runs on seven hits and four walks.  Gabriel Gutierrez was 3-for-4 and scored once.
Obregon:  Bobby Cramer went seven innings, allowing one run on six hits and a walk.  Adan Munoz was 2-for-4 with a double.

NAVOJOA 7, MAZATLAN 1 IN MAZATLAN

Twins:  Gonzalo Sanudo pitched one inning, giving up one run on two hits and no walks.
Game summary:  Navojoa built a 6-0 lead after five innings.
Navojoa:  Salvador Robles pitched five shutout innings, giving up five hits and a walk.  Rolando Acosta was 3-for-3 with a double and scored three times.
Mazatlan:  Guadencio Aguirre pitched two shutout innings, allowing three hits.  Heber Gomez was 3-for-4 and scored the team’s only run.

CULIACAN 14, LOS MOCHIS 2 IN LOS MOCHIS

Game summary:  Culiacan led 7-0 after two innings.
Culiacan:  Marlon Byrd was 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBIs.  Ramiro Pena was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring four times and driving in two.
Los Mochis:  Pedro Luis Lazo struck out five in 4.2 scoreless innings of relief, allowing no hits and two walks.

HERMOSILLO 4, MEXICALI 3 IN MEXICALI

Game summary:  Mexicali scored three in the bottom of the sixth to make the score 4-3.  Mexicali could not get the tying run past first after that inning.
Hermosillo:  Jose Amador was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.
Mexicali:  Oscar Verdugo struck out two in two perfect innings.  Oscar Robles was 2-for-4 with a double.
