SYDNEY 9, BRISBANE 2 IN BRISBANE

Twins:  Jacob Younis (Sydney) was 0-for-3.  JaDamion Williams (Sydney) was 1-for-4.  Logan Wade (Brisbane) was 1-for-3 with a walk.  Tyler Herr (Sydney) surrendered two runs on one hit and four walks in two-thirds of an inning.
Game summary:  Sydney led 5-0 after three and was never threatened.
Sydney:  Timothy Cox pitched six shutout innings, giving up seven hits and a walk.  Mitch Dening (Boston) was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring twice and driving in three.
Brisbane:  Brad Dutton was 2-for-5 with a double.

CANBERRA 4, ADELAIDE 2 IN CANBERRA

Game summary:  Adelaide took an early 2-0 lead, but Canberra scored single runs in the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh.
Adelaide:  Josh Cakebread was 3-for-4 with an RBI.  Justin Howard (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-4 with a double and scored once.
Canberra:  Adam Buschini was 2-for-4 with a double and scored twice.  Jeremy Barnes was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

PERTH 4, MELBOURNE 3 IN MELBOURNE

Game summary:  Melbourne took a 3-0 lead after two.  Perth tied it in the fifth and took the lead in the eighth on a single, a hit batsman, and two walks.
Perth:  Josh McGee was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.  Luke Hughes was 1-for-3 with two walks and scored twice.
Melbourne:  Justin Huber was 2-for-4 with a double and scored once.  Jarryd Rogers doubled, scored once, and drove in two.
