Australian League: Games of November 30


SYDNEY 8, BRISBANE 3 IN BRISBANE

Twins:  Jacob Younis (Sydney) was 1-for-4 and scored once.  JaDamion Williams (Sydney) was 1-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.  Logan Wade (Brisbane) was 0-for-4.  Tyler Herr (Sydney) pitched a scoreless inning, allowing only a hit batsman.
Game summary:  Sydney led 4-0 after two innings and Brisbane never got closer.
Sydney:  Mitch Dening (Boston) was 2-for-4 with a home run and scored twice.  Chris Snelling walked and hit a two-run homer, scoring twice.
Brisbane:  Hirotoshi Onaka (Texas) was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring once.  Joshua Roberts homered and walked, driving in two.

PERTH 9, MELBOURNE 2 IN MELBOURNE

Twins:  Joshua Hendricks (Melbourne) was 1-for-4.
Game summary:  Perth led all the way, taking a 6-2 lead after five.
Perth:  Virgil Vasquez struck out eight in eight innings, giving up two runs on five hits and a walk.  Luke Hughes was 2-for-5 with two home runs, scoring three times and driving in four.
Melbourne:  Liam Bedford was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.  Andrew Mann struck out five in 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing only one hit.

CANBERRA 8, ADELAIDE 2 IN CANBERRA

Game summary:  Canberra scored two in the first and led 4-0 after five.
Adelaide:  Angus Roeger was 2-for-4 with two home runs.
Canberra:  Brian Grening struck out eight in seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks.  Jeremy Barnes was 3-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in two.
