Brisbane: Patrick Leonard (Tampa Bay) was 3-for-4 with a triple. Joey Rickard (Tampa Bay) was 3-for-5. Rhys Niit struck out two in two perfect innings.
Adelaide: Ben Lodge was 2-for-3 with a walk and a run. James Baldwin (Dodgers) was 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run homer. David Holman (Seattle) pitched six innings, allowing seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts.
The game: Adelaide got two in the third on four singles and a sacrifice fly. They added two more in the sixth on Baldwin's two-run homer. Brisbane's best chance came in the fourth, when Leonard was thrown out trying to score from second on a single.
