Lehigh Valley led 6-5 when the game was suspended with one out in the top of the fifth. Jeff Clement hit a home run, his fifth. Andrew Albers has done all the pitching for the Red Wings. The game will be finished today prior to the regularly scheduled game.RICHMOND 2, NEW BRITAIN 1 IN NEW BRITAIN
Batting star: Jordan Parraz hit a home run, his second.Pitching stars: Logan Darnell struck out five in six innings, giving up two runs on seven hits and two walks. Cole Johnson pitched a scoreless inning despite giving up two hits and a walk. He struck out one. Michael Tonkin struck out five in two shutout innings, giving up only a hit batsman.
Opposition stars: Chris Gloor pitched eight innings, allowing one run on two hits and no walks.
Key inning: The ninth. Trailing 2-1, Reynaldo Rodriguez led off the bottom of the ninth with a double and was bunted to third with one out. Danny Santana struck out and Chris Pettit popped up to end the game.
FORT MYERS 5, BRADENTON 0 IN FORT MYERS
Batting stars: Aderlin Mejia was 2-for-2 with a double and three walks, scoring once. Eddie Rosario was 2-for-3 with a double and two walks, scoring twice. Miguel Sano was 2-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.Pitching stars: Taylor Rogers struck out seven in seven shutout innings, giving up seven hits but no walks. Ryan O'Rourke struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk. Matt Hauser struck out the side in a perfect inning.

Key inning: The fifth. The Miracle led 1-0. With two out, Rosario doubled and Sano was hit by a pitch. Kennys Vargas then delivered a two-run double to make the score 3-0.

Batting stars: J. D. Williams was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer (his fifth), scoring twice. Byron Buxton was 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI.Pitching stars: Mason Melotakis pitched seven innnings, giving up two runs on seven hits and a walk. Steven Gruver struck out two in a perfect inning.
Opposition stars: Guillermo Pimentel was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer. Janelfry Zorrilla was 2-for-5 with a double.
Key inning: The sixth. Leading 2-0, the Kernels scored five times. Adam Brett Walker II was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, followed by a two-run homer by Travis Harrison. Tyler Grimes walked and with one out, Williams hit a two-run homer. Buxton then singled, took second on a passed ball, went to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a passed ball to make the score 7-0.
